Seacon Bangkae Mall, Bang Wa

 February Thursday 1st 2024. I went to eat lunch with my friend Nikky. It was a long drive and none of the taxi drivers or motorcycles would drive me. I finally found a motorcycle who took me to Udom Suk BTS and a nice young lady who helped me figure out where to go next. I took the light green line from Udom Suk to the Siam interchange. From there I took the dark green BTS skytrain to Bang Wa BTS station. Followed by a taxi.

I tried to get a taxi to the sauna, the first couple taxis said it was too far. The next taxi thought I said Seacon Bangkae instead of Seacon Square, it cost me an extra 100 baht. However it was an honest mistake, I wasn't paying attention, and the taxi driver clearly did not do it on purpose. I finally arrived at the sauna and I spent the evening relaxing with AEW and her sister Eat.

Carryout Dinner near home

  January Wednesday 31st 2024. AEW and I are carry out from one of  the restaurants on the first floor of the condominium complex.

Uncle Mustache Steak Restaurant

  January Tuesday 30th 2024. AEW and I got    dinner at Uncle Mustache Steak Restaurant. This is still one of my favorite "western" style restaurants to eat at in Thailand. Simple, consistent, and tasty food, with a wonderful staff at a very low cost. Our food came to a cost of 150 Thai baht. We spent another 140 Thai baht for a carry out order and a side of chicken drumsticks .

 After dinner we stopped at an open street market and bought fruit to eat tonight. Bananas, persimmons, Korean pear, Papaya, mango, dragon fruit, grapes, pineapple and  Ma Yong Chit, which looks like tiny orange mangos.

5 Dollar Philly

 January Monday 29th 2024. Take out from  dollar philly steak. We split fish and cajun chips (potato wedges), a regular philly, and    mashed potatoes with onion gravy.

Bangkok Art and Culture Centre

 January Sunday 28th 2024. We spent time looking around Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร. While we were looking around we had a small scoop of ice cream.

 Look at that exciting view 9 stories up with an open atrium.

Outside the 3rd floor is a walkway connecting the buildings for all four corners. There were these artsy "umbrellas" that provided shade.
