It's the end of the day Dec 24, at Khao San Road. It is a famous area for travelers in the area. There are many loud, exciting bars, restaurants, and affordable locations in this area. Lots of "green" shops and all the bars were selling laughing gas.
There were many vendors selling smoking products. It is so strange to see this legal in Thailand when I heard they had some of the strictest drug laws before. 
Yes that is a whole alligator they have cut up and cooked. Honestly, I was not impressed the first time I tried alligator years ago. Maybe I'll have it again some day.
