 It's Saturday January 25th. Elle and I ventured out to the amulet market and Chatachuck Weekend Market. We took motorbike taxis to get to the Green BTS Udon Suk station. Because of the air pollution, the Thai government has made the MRT and BTS free for 10 days to combat the air pollution. When we switch to the MRT the staff thought we cut the queue because Elle walked past the ticket window. It was a long line and they would not stop to listen to us and made us go through the increasingly long line a second time and it was really infuriating. They were so nasty. On the way to Tha Prachan the amulet market to get more Garuda coins and I met Kun Noi. Noi yelled at me in Thai about my Garuda amulets. Elle helped us translate. Noi and I talked about Garuda and some Buddhist Monks then we exchanged amulets. One of the ones I am making to donate to the temples and a Monk amulet that Noi gave me. Elle would not take my money out of the bank account and told me if I wanted to buy anything she would use her phone to transfer the money. So we are out shopping and she figures out that she left her phone at home so we can not spend money to buy thing on our all day excursion before we go to the US. We were not sure if we had enough for lunch.
