February Sunday 25th 2024. We left the hotel after having a morning swim in the pool. On our way to a restaurant called, CASA MYKA, 505, 953 หมู่ที่ 12 ถนนหาดดงตาล, หนองปรือ, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri 20150, Thailand, we stopped and bought the highest premium durian. There was a definite garlic aroma which got stronger after opening the fruit. The taste was good, not great, and not terrible, but ok. The texture was different between the smaller and larger pieces. The larger pieces were mushier, a little bit like a banana while the smaller pieces were firmer and both had a semi sweet umami taste.
Casa Myka, this is a beautiful cafe with some cool spots outside that make for great photos and selfies. Mint picked out this restaurant for lunch. We split the Nduja, spicy salami paste, and the Ham, Cheese & Mushrooms pizza with extra cheese. It was busy when we were there but the service was quick and the food was delicious.
