Shopping in Chinatown

 February Monday 19th 2024. Trying out some Thai energy drinks. Wow, Titan is not pleasant, 100 times the medicine taste people complain about in Red Bull. I had to drink 2 Red Bull to get rid of the taste. I got on the train at Si Udom and there was a girl that smelled wonder. The wind kept blowing and I could not help but ask her what she was wearing so I could buy it for my fiancee. It is "Spell" by Jaime. I'll have to find it before I go home and hid it for AEW.

The train arrived at 1:53 PM

 I found a Doraemon compact mirror and bought it for AEW. Since she doesn't read the blog, I think it will be another one of the presents and gifts that I hide for her to find after I leave.

2:08 PM, Arrived at Hua Mak interchange to get on the Blue BTS.

 It took a while to get to the interchange for the Blue Line as they are not connected. I met a Polish family from Norway who was also going to the Blue line and helped me out. They even shared their fried banana snacks with me. My rabbit card isn't good for the Blue line. I used the ticket machine by myself for the first time and it wasn't too bad, next I have to do it again but on the subway.

I searched for a top rated Sichuan restaurant and found, ร้านโคตร Wok, located at 672 Krung Kasem Rd, Wat Sommanat, Pom Prap Sattru Phai, Bangkok 10100, Thailand.

This is an amazing restaurant. Some of the best Sichuan and Mala style food I have ever had. The Mala fried chicken was crunchy without being dry and spiced wonderfully. The Stir-Fried Chicken in Sichuan Style was juicy and packed with flavor. I also ordered a side of steamed rice with a fried egg and the rice was perfect, tender, light, and fluffy. Not old dried out rice like I am used to getting in restaurants.

I speak almost no Thai so there was a little disconnect when I first tried to order. The staff was concerned that the dishes might be too spicy and recommended sweet and sour pork instead. But everything was ok once they understood I loved spicy and was going to be ok.
