Halfway Back to Bangkok

  It's Sunday December 22nd. Elle and I dropped off Eid on our drive back to Bangkok.  

 Just after sunset we started looking for a place to stay for the night as we have about 3 or more hours to get home and Elle doesn't want me driving this year. The resort is called, 

ชาวเขื่อน รีสอร์ท, V375+99C, Nong Bua, Phatthana Nikhom District, Lopburi 15140, Thailand. https://maps.app.goo.gl/A8ixok33ENugYFEP8  The rooms were 800 and 600 baht with a 100 baht key deposit. We went with the 600 baht room and it seems nice.

 After settling into our room we went to the restaurant, Chao Kuan Restaurant ร้านอาหารชาวเขื่อน-เขื่อนป่าสักชลสิทธิ์, 145 หมู่6 หนองบัว Phatthana Nikhom District, Lopburi 15140, Thailand,  which is owned or connect with the resort. We had some of the best Isan food that I have had this trip. Garlic cabbage, rice soup, and dried fried pork. I know these are simple dishes, but that shows how great they were if I'm raving about it.  Early the next day, Monday December 23rd. The restaurant was grilling fresh fish so we stopped to eat lunch before we started our drive back to Bangkok.
