It's Monday December 9th. I arrived at Bangkok around 6 am today. Immigration cas quick and painless this time. I was able to call Aew and meet her outside at the picks and drop-offs area. We got home and I took a shower. I surprised her with a new phone, a US phone number, an unlimited mint mobile phone plan and roaming turned on for a couple days.
I installed applications on the new phone I brought for Elle. I also texted several people asking them to contact Aew but add her new number and add it as Elle Neill. As I was finishing up the new phone setup our Thai massusue arrived. I got a 3 hour deep tissue Thai massage at the condo that hurt a lot. The massusue said my muscles were knotted up and hard as rocks. Aew had a massage after me and we went to the sauna for food and relaxation.
The sauna still has some of the best Thai food I have had in Thailand. I am glad I picked this as the plan for my first day back in Thailand.
Mint was going to join us after she finished work. Aew and I ordered food before Mint arrived because the sauna was very busy. Mint was running late so we started eating without her.
We ordered most of the food before Mint arrived and we spent time together talking about work and things we could do while I'm visiting this year as a family. The plan was to come back to the US before January, but we don't have Elle's visa yet and plane tickets are too expensive. So, I guess we will come back early 2025, depending on when Elle's passport and visa come back from the US embassy as well as ticket prices. It is weird not having a definite plan and not being worried about anything this trip.
