Bangkok, Day 28

It's Jan 18th. AEW and I ate at Mustache Uncle Steak, down the street from the house a second time. The owner got a picture of us together.
AEW ordered the salmon steak and substituted her fries with mashed potatoes and an extra side order of fried egg. I tried a bite of the fish and the skin was crispy and the salmon filet was perfect.

I ordered the fish and chips again. When it comes to fish, I normally only eat sushi, and only from very good restaurants. This was what I consider to be perfect breaded fish, the only thing missing was tartar sauce, but the dressing they include was not bad. I obviously liked it because I ordered it 2 days in a row.

I only had a single Coca-Cola this time, but I was so hungry that I ordered a second meal. Chicken steak, with a side of fried egg added, and I substituted the fried with mashed potatoes and gravy. Again this was very good and the second time I ordered it this week.

AEW and I ordered food to go because we didn't eat all day and knew we would be hungry again in a few hours and didn't want to go back out for food. AEW ordered spaghetti with tomato and pork sauce. While I got a ham steak with 2 sides of fried eggs added and I substituted the fried with mashed potatoes and gravy. The owner didn't take out to go order and the waiter was very defiant and said they never do substitutions. AEW told him... "She did it for us," pointing to the owner. So he grumpily stormed off and the owner took care of us. She said they didn't substitute normally but she was fine doing it. I understand not doing it but was thrilled at the customer service and attention she gave to us.
