It's Jan 28th. Our plans for Omakase sushi fell through for today. We can reschedule and don't lose our deposit, so I think we will try for next Saturday. AEW and I went to Mr. D.I.Y., it is like a hardware store, craft store, and dollar tree all wrapped into one. I bought AEW some stuff for the appartment, some gifts for Kylee, and a few odds and ends for me and some people back home. AEW and I ate at the open market and had a wide variety of street food. The picture is only half of what we ate. I am so full and completely satiated.
After eating we went to the shipping yard and there was some sort of celebration or party going on.
There was a stage setup and several singers and dancers performing. I didn't get a picture of it but there was some guy with his face buried in the private area of one of the dancers. Everyone was cheering it on and the dancer started thrusting her hips. Then the guy's wife showed up. She was so mad and eventually got someone to drag him away from the party. She was saying something to her husband, loudly, and slapped him a few times in the face while the other person was holding or restraining him. It was very uncomfortable.
Here is another 7 headed dragon fountain. I see these all over Thailand and the really cool, and not just because I love fountains.
Someone at the shipping yard had me try this medicinal drink. It is had a terrible medical herb infused flavor and strong taste of whiskey.
AEW dumped all the stuff from Mr. D.I.Y. on the floor. She was very happy at how cheap everything was.
I'm going to have to fight AEW for the black sketch book she told me not to buy ... Or go back and buy all of them. Ang go to other stores and buy them from all over Thailand.
