It's Jan 21st. We have had an incredibly long day. I have been awake for almost 2 days now. I fell asleep in the car for about 20 minutes while AEW looked for a clean place to sleep for the night. It is only 660 baht for the night or $20 US.
We stopped at a place called the "Finland Resorts Inn" and we got one of county style rooms. There was a lot of fake brick, maybe stucco. Old timey brass knobs in the bathroom and shower. The door to the bathroom was a sliding barn door with wheels on a track, just like at a horse stable.
There was a fake fireplace and the lights were all in fixtures styled like old gas lanterns, but had regular light bulbs.
We had to make our own bead. The blankets were in a nice clean bag. Look what a great job we did.

Look at the food menu. The green menu didn't have pictures so I didn't get a picture of it opened. I also didn't know what was on the green menu because I don't know any Thai and didn't ask AEW what it said.
There were also some other menus that sold condoms, as well as massagers, because sex toys are not legal here, and apparently an entire menu of costumes you can purchase ... Right? That says it's costumes for sale and not a menu of women, doesn't it? Now I'm getting a dirty vibe about our room and wondering if there's a camera in the TV or hidden somewhere in the room. I guess it doesn't matter because we are just sleeping.
Clearly this menu is only for cosplay outfits and not for anything untoward... Clearly? Right?

I looked closer at the picture of the menu for the different rooms and they have a 3 hour rate as well as a per hour rate. I'm getting a only seen (by me) in Hollywood movies, shady and sleazy no tell motel vibe again. I'm starting to think that is a menu for women you can have visit and not costumes for purchase.
AEW told me Finland or Fin Land means land of fantasy or pleasure and probably is not reference the Finland the European country. But still it has been the best place we have stayed in Thailand. We both liked it very much. The water pressure and water heat was the biggest selling point after the cleanliness.
