It's Feb 5th. We ate lunch at a little place called "Niyom is my Father". It was mediocre at best, everything was too expensive, and the service was terrible. They were out of the first couple things I tried to order. The cream of mushroom soup was very watery and had absolutely no flavor. I thought I might have COVID but is definitely not the case. The double cheeseburger had so much black pepper on it that I could not eat it. And you know how much I like pepper and spice. After we ordered our food, the power went out, so no lights and no air conditioning in 94° fahrenheit wether. The power came back on after we paid the bill but before we got our change back. AEW's spaghetti carbonara with bacon was not terrible. She also got a chocolate cheese cake and it was dry and unpalatable.
